1. About Us

The Jewellery Intake is a trading name of The Voyage Bird, a sole proprietorship owned by Michael Livsey, registered in England. By placing an order on this website, you agree to these terms and conditions.

2. Products

All jewellery is sold as unsorted bulk lots by weight. We do not sort, grade, or cherry-pick individual pieces. The contents of each lot are random and will vary. Product images are illustrative, not representative of any specific lot.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are in GBP (£). Payment is processed securely via Stripe. We accept all major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

4. Orders

Orders placed before 2pm GMT ship the same working day. Orders placed after 2pm or on weekends/holidays ship the next working day. We reserve the right to cancel any order before shipment, with a full refund.

5. Shipping

Free shipping to UK addresses via Royal Mail or equivalent courier. Delivery is typically 1-2 working days. See our Shipping Policy for full details.

7. Product Condition

Jewellery is sold as mixed condition. Some pieces may be broken, tangled, or incomplete. This is clearly stated on each product page. By purchasing, you acknowledge that the lot is unsorted and the condition of individual pieces will vary.

8. No Warranty on Individual Pieces

We do not warrant individual pieces within a lot. The lot is sold as a whole. If you are unsatisfied with the lot overall, you may return it under our 30-day returns policy.

9. Hallmarking and Precious Metals

All jewellery is sold as costume jewellery. We do not test, hallmark, or verify any piece for precious metal content. Under the Hallmarking Act 1973, it is illegal to describe or sell an item as gold, silver, or platinum without a recognised UK hallmark from an assay office. If you believe a piece may contain precious metal, you must have it independently tested and hallmarked before describing or reselling it as such. We make no representation about the metal content of any piece in our lots.

10. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, images, branding, and design, is the property of The Voyage Bird and may not be reproduced without permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to lost profits from resale of individual pieces.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
